About Us
Rochester Parkour is an organization dedicated to teaching Parkour in a safe and responsible manner.
Rochester Parkour is run by Zachary Cohn and Charles Moreland. Zac has been training for over four years and is a member of the APK Alliance, a national team of traceurs sponsored by www.AmericanParkour.com who work to foster community, maintain a positive public image of Parkour, and create and organize high quality content. He works with American Parkour and has started and run many parts of the website and business. In addition to teaching Kid’s Parkour classes at Zenith Gymnastics, he taught Taekwondo for 4 years, and is also involved with rock climbing, slacklining, gymnastics, juggling, swing dance, and any other kind of movement. Zac is a graduate of RIT with a Bachelor’s of Science.
Charles Moreland is in his 3rd year of parkour training. He is a member of the APK Alliance and is also a certified personal trainer. Charles holds over a decade of experience in martial arts and has also worked as a gymnastics instructor at the Zenith Academy of Gymnastics for over two years. He is a graduate of RIT with a Bachelor’s of Science.
Zac and Charlie have both been featured in the Rochester Insider, the Democrat and Chronicle, RNews, Fingerlakes Magazine, and various other local publications. They are also both contributors to American Parkour’s monthly newsletter, The Freerunner.
