Book an Intro Session!

Kieran's Tic-tac

Rochester Parkour believes in guided creativity. What does this mean? It means that we cannot teach you creativity, only guide you to it. We believe our style of teaching produces the best results, but we understand that it can be confusing your first day. To help this, we are now offering you the option of scheduling an Introductory Session.

An Introductory Session is a one on one private lesson that will last an hour to an hour and a half that will guide you through the basic movements of parkour and help get you self-sufficient enough to then go about and explore movement through your own means.

Introductory Session

Format: One on One
Duration: 1 hour to 1.5 hours
Price: $35
Send an email to info@rochesterparkour.com to schedule your session!

Sponsorship and Donor Program

Rochester Parkour believes that disciplined movement can change lives. Every day, our instruction helps change and mold people into stronger, well-disciplined, and multi-faceted human beings. You can be a part of this change by becoming a Donor or a Sponsor of Rochester Parkour.

Donor Program

Reach Higher

Through hard work and dedication, Andrew Clocksin (age 16), can scale an 11 foot wall!

Becoming a donor is a wonderful thing. A donor is a person who understands the transformative power of parkour and movement. They are people who believe in Rochester Parkour and our commitment to the Greater Rochester Community. Donors donate money to Rochester Parkour out of the kindness of their heart and use that donation to say that they want to see us continue our growth and expand our outreach.

Donation money is used to funnel back into the community by funding our service projects, free workshops, and building projects that better serve members. Donations can be a private venture, but we’d like everyone to know who believes in us! Let us know if you’d like your name on our Donor Wall in the gym!

Becoming a donor is easy. Visit our homepage and donate money through Paypal or send an email to charles@rochesterparkour.com

Sponsorship Program

Community Clean Up

We teach respect for self, others, and for environment. Pictured here are members volunteering by cleaning up junk in Manhattan Square Park

The Rochester Parkour Sponsorship Program is geared toward local Rochester business that are proud of our community and want to give back and continue to nourish the youth in Rochester. Sponsors pledge money that will then fund a local high school student’s parkour and movement education – education that not only improves physicality and health, but also breeds strong-willed and strong-minded community members.

Parkour changes lives and you or your business can be an outspoken sponsor of that change. Help us make a difference in the lives of Rochester’s youth.

Sponsors will be published on our dedicated Sponsors page for the length of time their pledge lasts and will be allowed to write their name on the Sponsorship Plaque on the gym wall.

Contact Charles@rochesterparkour.com if you are interested in helping in this cause!

Plea for Support

To all members,

On the new frontpage of www.Rochesterparkour.com you will find a button on the right hand side that says donate. At first, this button was just added as a side project. Unfortunately, it is now the time where we need you, the community, the most.

The gym has now been open for almost a month and progress, as much as I hate to say it, is still slow. We’ve had a couple amazing successes which include the grand opening and the Ninja Warrior event, but we are still lacking in funds necessary to pay our rent.

This gym is not just a side project nor is it a method by which to steal or sink money. This gym is necessary for a wide variety of reasons:

1. This physical space is a testament to the Rochester community that we, as a community, are serious and proud about what we do.

2. Having a space speaks loudly to the worldwide community that we can band together and do something real and lasting. It puts Rochester on the map of known communities. I’ve actually been approached by several traceurs who have never been to New York, who know about Rochester Parkour and have an understanding that it is an amazing and dedicated community.

3. A space provides us with the means by which to enact lasting change on what parkour is and how it is viewed by the public. This is a place to denounce anyone who has shrugged us off as just another bunch of crazy and delinquent kids jumping off things for thrills.

4. This space is necessary for the dreaded Winter months that will inevitably come and make your training that much more difficult. The gym will be there for you.

5. This space is a community space much more than it is a “business.” We opened this gym for you so that you could further your progress but also have a space where others would go to socialize and hang out.

All donations will be tracked and you will get to put your name up on the donations wall in the lounge. Those donating $30 or more will automatically get unlimited memberships for the rest of this month. If you have no money to spend, send me an email at charles@rochesterparkour.com and tell me that you would like to help us out! We need volunteers for fund raising events.

If we lose this space, we lose all of our hard work for the last 4 months. This cannot happen. We must show the Rochester community that we are proud to be a part of this community and the greater Rochester community as well. We believe in ourselves and we believe in movement with a purpose. We can be a driving force of change. Help us help you be that change.

Sincerely,

Charles Moreland, BS, CSCS
Executive Director Rochester Parkour
