Youth classes at The Rochester Parkour Gym

Youth Program Ages 10 to 14

Parkour has been a great experience for my son over the last few years. He has a blast in the classes and the instructors are so good at instilling knowledge and confidence.

Class Benefits

Class Levels

Level 1

Suitable for all skill levels and beginners

Everyone starts in a Level 1 class, for at least one class. From there, an instructor will let you know if they think your teen should be put into our more advanced Level 2 class.

Level 2

for more advanced teens

Level 2 requires students meet our physical and behavioral limits. Students in this class can perform 5 full push ups, 1 full chin up, a hip height box jump, can touch their toes with straight legs, and have successfully balanced across our 12ft balance board.

Class Benefits

Fun Fitness
Your teens will have so much fun learning how to run up walls, jump over gaps, vault over barriers, and balancing on rails!
Life Skills
Our entire educational approach is learning how to “overcome obstacles”, both physical and mental. Your teens will learn how to deal with and handle frustration and how to channel their focus to overcome it.
Respect and Responsibility
Parkour might not have “teams” but your teens will be learning right along side other students. Some students pick things up faster than other. Some students require more time to hone their skills. No matter what, we celebrate the accomplishments of our fellow students and learn to build each other up.
Improved Strength and Balance
Parkour is the perfect cross-training for pretty much any sport. Our instructors are extremely knowledgeable of the human body and kinematics. Come to us for to see your teens build their power and strength and then their sports practices will hone it into sport specific performance.
