$200 + $20 free!

This is a commemorative, physical item that you can gift to a loved one this season with enough to cover an entire month of movement training (or possibly more!) in our one-of-a-kind facility PLUS we’ll throw in an extra $20 on top of it when your giftee brings in their customized card and presents it to our staff!

Each card will be custom etched on 3mm baltic birch plywood and customized with your giftee’s name. We added a small cut out on one side so that the card could double as a special ornament that your giftee can use to always remember that you gifted them a special experience that year.

Limited to 10 cards!

$30-$3,000,000 (but, definitely NOT $3,000,001)

Give your loved one the gift of movement this season with a gift card!

Buying a card will either email you or your recipient a code that they can use to redeem real money on their account. They can use that money for anything – classes, memberships, private sessions, camps, you name it!

The code itself is nothing special, but we made a printable for you that you can access and download by clicking the picture above. Save the printable, print it out, and write how much you put on the code. You can give your giftee the printable and the code and they’ll be all set to jump into their new favorite activity!

$10/spot

If you’re at all interested in Summer Camp this upcoming 2026 season, now’s a great time to hold your spot in line and be guaranteed the best deal that we have to offer!

Simply put $10 down now/child and you’ll automatically reserve the cheapest rate for our camps – $360 – no matter when you sign up! (Full price is $420/wk)

Please note, Summer Camp spaces are limited and this place holder will not guarantee you a spot, it just keeps the rate for you. We’ll be running 3 weeks of camp again next year, starting August 3rd, which means 48 total spots for kids ages 7-12.

Now is your chance to get peace of mind and take your time enrolling while still getting the best rate!

***PARENTS – In order for our system to function as intended, you will need to purchase this placeholder in your child’s name, not yours!***

New Equipment!

Turn your living room into a floor is lava course!

These new items are handcrafted by Charles, laser engraved with our new mandala logo, and are sealed to make them water resistant.

All items are made out of our new 3/4″ Europly (top quality, cabinet grade) and are not only beautiful and functional, they also represent a sustainable manufacturing process. How?

These items are made out of the plentiful scrap that is inevitably produced from our obstacle build projects. Normally, this plywood would get sent to a landfill. That hurts our heart!

Lillypads are unique in that they are intended to not be an unlimited, uniform size. Their dimensions will vary in size from 4″ square to 8″ square, depending on what scrap gets produced. $8/ea or $20 for a pack of 3.

Landing Pads are a uniform dimension item that will always be 3.5″ x 16″. They’re perfect as simple precision trainers, easy balance blocks, foot-eye coordination drills, and so much more. $20/ea or $35 for a pair.

Stick-Sticks are extremely unique and are also uniform dimensions – 1.25″ x 16″. Charles planed these down to 1/2″ to improve stability. Josh beta tested. These little twigs are thinner than our bars and are surprisingly challenging to balance on! Want to challenge your stick landings? Grab a Stick-Stick! $12/ea or $20 for a pair.

We have some inventory already in the gym. If we sell out, orders will be filled within 5 days.

$5/ea

Laser cut out of 3mm baltic birch plywood, these 3.5″ ornaments are simple and timeless – a representation and reminder of you and your journey through movement.

Each ornament comes with a gold-colored, decorative metal hook*.

*If you don’t want a hook, you can pick up an ornament as soon as today. If you’d like a hook, our shipment should come in Friday.

Discounted Shoes!

Dynamic Adult Shoes – $50 $40

Dynamic Kids Shoes – $40 $30

Comfortable, grippy, minimalist, zero-drop, wide toe box, AND affordable – these shoes literally tick every box we could ask for from a training shoe (and an everyday shoe, too!).

Sizes are limited. Once we sell out, we won’t get another shipment in until after Christmas.

$30 – 100% Organic Cotton Knit – Embroidered Logo

This hat is a Pre-Order and we’re not 100% sure that we can get these delivered in time for Christmas – but we’ll try!

Sustainable manufacturing is important to us and this Atlantic Headwear beanie delivers! 100% organic cotton knit, GOTS certified, and socially conscious. The hat is unfortunately one size – 11″ with the cuff (sorry kids!).

Our plan is to get these embroidered (not printed) with a shiny, metallic copper thread.

Pre-order ends Dec. 2nd!

Home Play Equipment

New, more efficient production processes have made building unique items like these much cheaper!

Trap Box – $650 $480

Cube Box – $650 $480

Mini-Ella – $750 $500

ALL 3 COMBO PACK – $1,460 $1,150

Guaranteed delivery by Christmas or your money back! Free delivery within Monroe County.

All obstacles are sheathed in top quality 3/4″ Europly and built to our gym standards.

50% OFF – $60 $30

Are you dealing with nagging low back pain, tight shoulders, or stiffness from long hours at a desk? Or perhaps you’re a weekend warrior looking to stay active and injury-free? A Functional Movement Screen (FMS) assessment can help you uncover movement imbalances that may contribute to discomfort or limit your performance.

This is a simple diagnostic test that tells you a lot of useful information for where you are compared to where you want to or ought to be and can help set a path towards accomplishing your goals in a faster and more efficient manner.

Custom Bar Cage

$800 – $4,000

Yes. That’s Charles & Nicole’s living room!

A bar cage could go anywhere – we can build one in your backyard if you wanted – but really our goal is to convert more people to realize just how transformative having a play structure in your actual house can dramatically improve your movement habits.

We call them “living rooms”, but sitting in a comfy chair with your eyes glued to a screen isn’t really “living”, is it?

These structures are custom designed to fit the space and your needs. As such, pricing is variable. The cage in the picture is ~$2,000 for reference. Some people spend that much on Pelotons!

If you’re at all interested in learning about whether or not we can design a sturdy structure that fits your space and your needs, consults are completely free!

Send an email to charles@movedynamically.com to start your inquiry.

Pricing Changes Starting June 15th

Greetings RocPK Family!

The time has come to inform everyone that starting June 15th, Rochester Parkour will be assessing a price increase due to the rising costs of operating a business. Read on for more detail, or skip to the bottom to see the tl;dr simple pricing chart.

Some background for those that are interested: our little gym has been open and running for 12 years! When we opened our doors for the first time in March of 2011, we did so with a commitment to make sure our program remained accessible and affordable for people in our community and to not be an exclusive, private club. In February 2011, we did some research on what a typical drop in price was for similar activities and landed on our $20 drop in. This drop in price has literally never changed in these 12 years.

It goes without saying, we all know the current circumstances of our local and national economy, and even though we’ve managed to grow in these last 12 years without changing this anchor price, there’s no getting around the math that $20 in 2011 is the equivalent of $30 now.

While we won’t be going that drastic, our new pricing anchor, starting on June 15th, will be a $25 drop in price. As such, membership prices will also be adjusted around this new pricing anchor. Seeing as this price increase still does not match the current inflation numbers, RocPK will be undergoing small, annual pricing increases starting in 2024, with a goal to catch up to inflation rates by 2028.

Full priced, Kids/Youth Memberships will be increasing to $105, up from $90.

Full priced, All Access Memberships will be increasing to $135, up from $120.

Those opting into auto-renew will continue to keep their $5/month Select Tier discount and their $20/month Sustaining Tier discount.

Additionally, we’d like to outline a few changes regarding how our family discounts will operate. Moving forward, we’ll be creating a loyalty system for family add-ons that reflects the same one we use currently for our full priced memberships (the $5 and $20/month discounts we just talked about). However, in order to keep things affordable for large families, the discounts will still be percentage based, rather than flat rates. It’s more complicated, but it ends up saving you more money.

Starting June 15th, there will now be two tiers of family discounts attached to our Select and Sustaining Loyalty tiers.

Select Tier Discounts (status achieved by opting in to auto-renew)

1st Person = $5/month

2nd Person = 10%/month

3rd Person = 30%/month

4th+ Person(s) = 50%/month

Sustaining Tier Discount (status achieved after 12 auto-renewals)

1st Person = $20/month

2nd Person = 25%/month

3rd Person = 50%/month

4th+ Person(s) = 75%/month

New Changes to the RocPK Level Test!

We’ve been working hard to figure out the best method to assess who should move up and when. We’ve tried several different methods in the past, but we are excited to announce our best solution yet!

Video Submissions

In the past, either an instructor told you that they thought you were ready to move up to Level 2 classes or you had to sign up for a Level Test. These methods were deemed impractical because they left out certain people who either didn’t feel like they were noticed or could never attend testing nights due to schedule conflicts.

Our new process will not only give you full explanation of what skills are required in order for you to prove you’re ready to move up, but it also allows anyone to do this at any time! Here’s how it works:

  1. Research and View all the skill requirements for your age group
  2. Practice these skills during Open Gym time. If you need extra assistance on a particular skill, request to your instructor that they cover it during your next class
  3. When you feel like you can perform the skill well enough for the test, take a video of you doing it! Open Gym Supervisors can help video you if you wish
  4. Clip all your videos together as one video or send them all individually using our new online submission form
  5. RocPK will look over your submission and notify you within 7 days of your submission to either let you know that you passed or what still needs work in order to pass the test

Skill Requirements

While most techniques and skills are designed to be completed by both Youth and Adults, there are some that are age specific. We’ve set up two different Imgur albums with handy Gif videos demonstrating what we’d consider as passable performances of all the required skills. These albums can be found on the Level Test page located under ‘The Gym’ tab, but we’ll also embed them below so you can see now:

Youth Level Test

Adult Level Test

Questions?

We feel like this is the most complete version of the Application process to date! However, if you still have questions about the techniques or the submissions, don’t be afraid to ask your instructor or email us at info@rochesterparkour.com.

A New Beginning

Time goes by…

Kind of amazing to see that the last blog post on our roll is from June of 2013. We got busy, and ultimately, I thought I had found my end with writing for a bit. Moves were made, decisions decided, challenges overcome, and new mistakes made. So much has happened since the Summer of 2013…

Rochester Parkour has truly begun to establish itself as one of the leading parkour gyms in the country. Our approach is atypical, bringing an often missed holistic and wellbeing aspect to our training. Our ability to instill good values and bring about high quality movement has drastically improved. It is easily seen through our students movements and training discipline.

This post isn’t meant to be a complete recap of events since the last blog post, but is here rather to signify that whomever we are now is not who we were back then. We have evolved. We are stronger, more complex, and way more passionate about this community than ever before and I think we’re back into the swing of sharing our thoughts and understanding about events, education, and the parkour lifestyle in general.

He hope you enjoy the new us!

Want Outdoor Classes this Summer?

DSC_6593

Parkour is, and always has been, an outdoor activity. Gym’s and other facilities can help foster a safe, effective, and unique training environment, but at some point, those skills learned inside need to translate outside. It’s a whole new world out there. Jumps are different. The ground feels different. For some reason, things you find easy indoors are down right scary outdoors.

We’ve received some inquiries about if we offer outdoor classes aside from our weekly Saturday jams. Currently we do not, but have always wanted to host one of these classes. Those of you who have been lucky enough to experience a class on the outside of the RocPK warehouse know the joys of training parkour on a nice Summer sun day.

To help us gage whether or not we can offer an official class for outdoor instruction, we’ve put together a small survey. Please take the time to respond truthfully – it should take no more than a couple minutes. As a token of thanks for helping us out, upon completion, you may print out the final page of the survey and redeem it for a free class for you or a friend or use it to add an extra week to an existing membership (limit 1 per customer).

Thanks!
