Pricing Changes for September

To all members,

Please take a look at the pricing changes effective for September. Notable changes include:

– 5 Paid in Full classes have been adjusted to $70 instead of $60. We have done this to allow for the logical incentive to move towards monthly memberships which is in the bullet point below

– We now have membership packages and pricing structures for 2x per week and 1x per week. Monthly memberships take precedence over paid in full, and thus, the 1x per week package has taken place of the $60 paid in full package.

– Monthly memberships include open gym times as well as special events. Special events include: Competitions, discounted workshops, special classes, or community events like pot lucks and other gatherings.

– Memberships are charged monthly in the first week of every month. If you would like to sign up in the middle of the month, please see Charles at the gym for information.

We apologize for any confusion this may cause. Please be patient while we attempt to offer and bundle the services you ask for.

Calendar Changes for August

Students and Members,

Please take some time to look over the new class schedule effective August 1st. There are some major changes that must be addressed:

1. The Kids class has now been separated into two classes – Kids and Teens. The kid class is designed for ages 5-10. Teen class is for ages 13-17. The 3 year difference is to allow some spill over for kids who are either more mature for their age or have a strong grasp of the material and need to be accelerated.

2. The Gym is now closed on Tuesday nights.

3. There is a new Family Class! We’ve seen some crazy interest from families looking to learn parkour together! This class in particular is subject to change until we find two times that works well for all our members. Please send us your availability by emailing info@rochesterparkour.com

4. Invitation only classes for teacher instruction are now being added. If you’re looking to help out and teach, please email charles@rochesterparkour.com.

5. Pricing has also been updated.

Thank you all for making Rochester Parkour a wonderful place to train and grow!

Ninja Warrior – 7/2

Last ninja warrior was a huge success. This time, we’ve got a new course and new rules to help make it more of an experience!

The event starts at 5pm (after the big Leave No Trace). Participants must RSVP to charles@rochesterparkour.com and pay $10. The event is free to watch.

Participants will get 2 shots at the course. We will be using a scratch system and timing the course. A fall generates a scratch. Your goal is to complete the course as fast as you can with as few scratches as possible.

The winner of the event will be given a free membership and a bonus prize (to be announced at the event)!

New Community Forum!

Ever since Facebook took away the “message all members” function, communication has been pretty hit or miss. Hopefully, this move will stop that.

At the top of the menu bar you will find a new button that says “forum.” This is a direct link to the Rochester Parkour forum board. Please click on the link and register as a new user. If you have never used a forum before, it is simply a way of making communication between the community easier. Feel free to post topics and discuss as you wish. This greatly expands the community’s ability to create events on their own without the help of myself or others who typically initiate events.

There are no restrictions on access so anyone can join and chat.

Please make this transition smooth by joining and posting topics. It is only as useful and the members make it. That’s you.
